OK magazine and all of their ilk are full of lies. Lies, scams, lies, scams....like we are all fucking idiots.

The front cover on OK that screams: "Brad's secret visits to Jen" are LIES.

The cover that screams: "Nicole discovers Scientology is real"

They are all lies. Stop buying them. Please.

We are mugs, total mugs to buy them. Please stop contributing your money to them. Back in the early 2000's, I used to buy OK because I thought it would be a good read with a cup of tea and a biscuit and respite from life. But NOOOOO..... none of the stories are real. It's all made up horseshit and we are the mugs for buying them.

PLEASE STOP. Join my movement. (I just started it here) but LET'S START IT. No more shit journalism. #stopfakewomensmags

Oh I agree. When I was in Germany for a year the womens' mags were convinced that the Duchess of Cambridge was pregnant again and that it was twins. It was so ridiculous!!

Angryangryyoungwoman · 08/03/2017 15:47

I never read that shit anyway!

WindwardCircle · 08/03/2017 16:01

I only ever read them in the hairdressers or the doctor's waiting room (but not the dentist, my bog standard nhs dentist weirdly only has Tatler and Town and Country). I tend to read them and wonder who the hell the people featured in them are and why I should care about them stepping out to show off their new bikini body.

ojojoj1 · 08/03/2017 16:04

Completely agree makes you feel like shit as new mother as you spend first month after having a newborn in pyjamas and you look at celebrities being flawless

DJBaggySmalls · 08/03/2017 16:06

I never have [smug]
honestly, you wont miss them. Read a book instead.

Gingernaut · 08/03/2017 16:09

That's every magazine in the supermarket rack.

Everything from Spirit and Destiny, Men's Health and Women's Health to Have a Break and Cosmopolitan.

I'm in. It'll save a fortune.

AlmaMartyr · 08/03/2017 16:21

I haven't bought any magazines for well over a decade. Haven't missed them at all.
