To be heartbroken at yet ANOTHER fave product being discontinued?

I have just discovered Thorntons have discontinued their strawberry fondant chocolate pigs, and I am quite frankly devastated. These have been my fave little treat since I was about 12, and now they are no more!

It's the latest in a long line of favourite products being discontinued - does anyone else get unreasonably irritated by this?! I'll start a list, feel free to add to it...

• Thorntons strawberry fondant pigs (sob)
• Benefit 'So Hooked on Carmella' perfume
• Lush Aqua Mirabilis (my thighs will never be the same again)

Becles Revlon do a very similar one called Black Cherry. I used to wear the Rimmel Black Cherries one back in the mid 90s Far too dark for me now.

Le Jardin perfume. Max Factor made it and Jane Seymour was in the advert.

I had the evening version Le Jardin de Amour.

Oh, and also yes to Sara Lee's Danish, but it's the chocolate one I just after.

I loved Sara Lee chocolate gateau They also did a lemon one which was just as nice.

EPC chilli jam. It was lovely. NOT a chilli relish / chutney type thing but an actual jelly. It was really spicy and bloody lush.

I'm still in mourning over that. M&S do an adequate one but it's not the same and not nearly enough kick.

Napoleon's Nose, the Body Shop Japanese Washing Grains were just ground adzuki beans. You can make them in a blender easily.

FriedSprout I bought a gigantic bottle of Revlon Flex conditioner in a supermarket in Gran Canaria, so if you know anyone going to Spain on holiday, get them to check for you.

I used to bring Revlon flex back from the states after family holidays, loved it.

FriedSprout - now if there's one product that SHOULD be discontinued, it's sprouts!!

I also used to love Revlon Dry Skin relief lotion. My best friend introduced me to it and for years afterwards every time I opened it, I thought about her (living in different countries by that point) and the smell also brought me right back to many holidays we shared together. BF died 6 years ago from cancer and I would love to be able to smell it again

zukiecat - Sainsbury's used to do strawberry ricepops, so like cocopops but strawberry flavoured. They were pretty pink! Could it be those?

MrsLH still raves about Hellmans Deli Sauce ... they did a spring onion one (vom) about 20 years ago. They had people in store plugging them, and gave away little sachets on the deli counter.

Bachelors used to do Spicy Tomato super noodles ....

@applebit - Chop them up and fry them in butter and garlic - You won't know they're sprouts - honest

I also miss my Bobbi Brown tea berry lip gloss and the CK Crave aftershave for DH which made him smell yummy.

Applebite what is wrong with you woman? Sprouts are lush. Not fried though (sorry FS) or with bacon/chestnuts/other shite. Just boiled!

helpimitchy I miss Dermalogica Treatment Foundation too,still haven't found a suitable replacement(and I think I've tried them all!)
