Their teenage daughter has been blasting dance music for about an hour now. The kind with really thumpy bass that you can actually feel through the floor.
If it's not her, it's the dog at similar times or in the middle of the night, barking because he's been shut out in the garden. This can go on for up to two hours at at time, though he sometimes lets up if I go outside and talk to him/ pet him for a couple of minutes.
The walls are thin in our houses, we are a two-up, two- down. Daughter's bedroom is directly underneath ours. I often hear music from downstairs or next door and loud chatting and laughing- especially at the weekends. I can live with this as it's not intrusively loud and generally doesn't go on till very late.
But AIBU to think that at the weekend, when most people generally want to relax/have a lie in, loud thumping music and dog barking should be kept till a bit later in the day?
