Asking for advice.

This is posted here somewhat for traffic and somewhat because I feel like I should know the answer for this.
I am a teacher in ks1. I am about to go on maternity leave at Easter. I have a very troubled girl in my class with lots of issues surrounding men. My replacement is a man and has been teaching them for bits and bobs and doing interventions with my class but this girl in question behaves so terribly for him that I often have to remove her from the situation. In 4 weeks or so I obviously won't be able to do this anymore. Any suggestions on how I can improve the situation before I leave?

Honestly I think this is the kind of issue that requires specialist support working together with the child's parents and whoever is supporting her outside of school. Unless anyone here has expertise in this area our advice is as likely to be harmful as useful.

I think you also need to raise it with school management as this is clearly not the best thing for this child (they maybe able to swap teachers with another class for e.g. which although disruptive may be possible) it does sound like the child needs far more support than what is available at the moment and is badly damaged/abused and is not dealing with things well. I think it indicates more is needed for the child rather than anything else.
