I've read that
Blue tin Nivea is a cheaper version of creme de la mer so I've bought 3 tins!

Please can Anyone recommend anything that is as good as the branded version but cheaper?

I've read chunks of the thread but not the whole thing so apologies if this has already been said, but I remember reading in a magazine once that Bourjois blushers were made in the same factory (and using the same method - some kind of baking) as Chanel.

@dahliaaa I generally use a flannel anyway.

The original Maybelline Baby Skin in the blue tube is more similar to the original Smashbox Photo Finish primer (the clear one)- both clear and silicone based so good for smoothing pores. Porefessional is also silicone based but has that beige hue.

Maybelline Baby Skin does not contain fertility busting cyclopentasiloxane, Profesional does Grin

Astral is tons better than Nivea - it is much lighter to put on and Joanna Lumley has used it all her life. I have just found some on eBay (Boots don't seem to sell it) and am delighted to have my skin feeling so soft again.

Check out TAM beauty for make up - I was a huge fan of Benefit, Mac etc but now I have a huge collection from Tambeauty.com for a fraction of what I'd have paid!

After so much I have heard about Astral I am ordering some - thanks fir the tip Glad

Lidl's 'Oaties' are a million times nicer than HobNobs, and half the price too!
