Just for general information my congressman is on the Foreign Affairs Committee. I phoned his office and asked why they aren't calling for an investigation into the Russian ties with the White House. I got a two page letter back that started off with describing the New York Times as 'a notoriously partisan and dishonest organization'. He's troubled about the 'largely unsubstantiated' accusations. I guess possible strong Russian influences on the White House don't bother him, but people talking about it does.

He also said we shouldn't be distracted about this but should worry about healthcare costs due to the ACA and how we'll be like Greece in 20 years. I agree with that, but if they stopped going to war every five minutes maybe there'd be money to pay for poor people's cancer treatment.

That flurry of tweets! I just.....It's like.....well, I don't know what it is, other than the ramblings of someone who doesn't have a solid grip on reality.

But the people that are controlling him (Bannon et al) won't care how deranged he sounds as long as they can keep manipulating him by flattery to continue to do their bidding. The GOP won't care as long as he parrots their 'party line' and he signs their bills into law.
