'The show has become tainted........'

cozietoesie · 03/03/2017 23:50

Sorry. The show has.....'become tainted'.......

Deejoda · 03/03/2017 23:56

SCROTUS has grandchildren. Even if he doesn't give a fuck about the general public, does he want his GCs to know that Granddaddy had a huge part to play in destroying the planet? Doesn't he care about them having clean air and drinking water that isn't poisoned by industrial waste?
He thinks the Trumps can buy their way out of everything, probably believes one can relocate to another planet if things get bad enough. He is the most short-sighted leader...he wins that title. Bigly!

Reading about Baba Vanga in this month's Fortean Times. Read the 'Work' part of the page to read her predictions.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baba_Vanga

She apparently predicted that the 44th US president would be African American. However, she also said that he would be "the last US president".

This has spooked me into thinking that Scrotus is going to do something to wipe out the presidency. She has a pretty good record with her predictions Sad

SanFranBear · 04/03/2017 00:07

This is also eerie:

Everything will melt away like ice yet the glory of Vladimir, the glory of Russia are the only things that will remain. Russia will not only survive, it will dominate the world

Predicted by Baba Vanga in 1979

cozietoesie · 04/03/2017 00:09

SanFran. Really.

Out of interest. Meeting

peaceout · 04/03/2017 00:09

I remember listening to a program about her a while ago SanFran
interesting predictions.... Shock

TheClaws · 04/03/2017 00:10

OMG. The blame-shifting! The 'they do it too, so why not get them?' Unbelievable. I just cannot understand how a President can behave this way and, ultimately, be enabled and encouraged by those around him. If this was happening in my country, he would be out on his arse quick smart.

PausingFlatly · 04/03/2017 00:11

But if he is a narcissist, his children only exist as extensions of himself anyway.

The concept that one day he might be gone and his children and grandchildren continue living without him will be hard for him to grasp. And even harder for him to care about.

cozietoesie · 04/03/2017 00:23

Interestingly, a close friend of mine said, as a throwaway remark, 'But he doesn't like children anyway, does he?' while discussing some aspect of 45. Quite matter-of-fact.

I think you may be right, Pausing.

This is an interesting analysis of the image of Schmer and the Russian ambassador - and why it isn't a parallel to Sessions' case at all. (Washington Post)

Two tweets from Rogue POTUS staff - not sure how I feel about these. Are they a step too far?

Rogue POTUS Staff @RoguePOTUSStaff

This cannot be understated: The President of the United States is a Russian espionage agent.

Rogue POTUS Staff‏ @RoguePOTUSStaff 7h7 hours ago

By definition, anyone secretly working against the country in favor, or the under control, of a foreign government, is a espionage agent.

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 04/03/2017 07:28

I thought this comment under the phone meeting between Gen. Valery Gerasimov, the chief of the General Staff of the Russian armed forces and his NATO counterpart that Cozie linked to is interesting:

Only a phone call, because in April 2014 General Gerasimov was added to the list of persons against whom the European Union introduced sanctions ″in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine″, so, a physical meeting is out of the question for the time being.

Could this mean staff in Trump's administration or campaign might have breached sanctions by meeting with other Russian officials?

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 04/03/2017 07:30

Although I note Cozie's article is about EU sanctions...

CussingQuim · 04/03/2017 07:54

Morning all.

Maybe they think time is short Cozie? Maybe someone's getting close to shutting them down?

I get their logical points. However I think most people will assume that's hysteria because (as they've said in other tweets) people assume spies are James Bond characters, not just randomly useful people recruited to do random things.

USA today article - Russians disillusioned with Trump -

“There was an atmosphere of positive expectations” in the Kremlin, said Konstantin von Eggert, a political commentator with Russia’s independent Dozhd TV station. Now the relationship between the two countries is "toxic," he said.
"The Kremlin is realizing that maybe the best outcome would be to maintain the current level of tensions between Russia and America rather than having something worse,” he said.

CussingQuim · 04/03/2017 08:01

Newsweek article: the Trump-Putin honeymoon is over

... Russia has resumed a quasi–Cold War posture.

... Moreover, the state-controlled Russian TV channels received instructions to drastically cutmentions of Trump, and to not to be too complimentary about him.

... What will Moscow do? Most probably, revert to the anti-American stance that became its trademark after President Barack Obama’s reset collapsed. It may expand warfare in Ukraine and provoke a U.S. response that could result in both a military buildup in Eastern Europe and an exacerbation of the nuclear arms race.

I can't play the video without waking dh, what's the gist Lion?

woman12345 · 04/03/2017 08:40

here's a bit of it!
Who paid for your trip to Moscow?
I was invited by the university?
I was paid zero.
The allegations are that the Russian government pays for people who support.
Did they pay for your travel?
Economy class.
Did the campaign know about your trip to Omscow.
People knew about it.
They approved your trip in advance.
What happened in Moscow?
Everything about me is completely false.
Who gave you a heads up from Trump's campaign?
I don't like putting myself with some one from the campaign.
People were fine with it.
Did you meet with anyone connected with the Russian government?
There was plenty of intel following my travels.
I was talking with professors, students.
nothing serious about the campaign.
I had never seen so much excitement. The possibility that there may be some change met with optimism.
Did any one talk to you about Hilary Clinton?
No Russian person has said to me a word about hacking.
It's so false, it's a joke, it shows how illegal and dishonest the actions of the Clinton campaign were.
You say that the Clinton campaign was targeting you because you are a Catholic and a male?

(He's the patsy?)

woman12345 · 04/03/2017 08:45

Did Russia affect the US elections?
I don't think about those things?
You don't carry a second phone in Moscow?
I do.
You can't imagine Russian intel will hack?
Your credibility on this seems under question, if you .....(Putin's statement) ...We never meddle in the internal affairs unlikes US, do you believe that?
I was not there as part of the Trump campaign.
Yes or no Russian meddles in the affairs of other countries?
I think that's a fair statement. (agreeing with the yes)
