To think my baby is giving me kisses?

Ds is 7 months and just recently has started grabbing my face and smooshing his open mouth anywhere he can get it on my face basically. At first I thought he was hungry but he does it nearly every time I'm giving him a cuddle. Am I mad to think he's giving me kisses? I kiss him a lot so he could have picked it up I suppose. When did your babies start giving you baby kisses?

They feel different of course but if anything or must be so overwhelmingly be to be a baby who loves his mommy because we (and associated parents etc) are their world. No wonder they had lock us and hold on for fear life

It is adorable and he only does it to me so I feel extra special I'm going to choose to believe that it is indeed kisses. This morning when I was feeding him he held his wee hand against my cheek and stared at me the whole time. Maybe he loves me as much as I love him

That is the loveliest thing I've ever read. I read it to DH and it made him well up too
