You know, like to used to be in the olden daze - pre PB and further back than that.

Where do we go onto from here? Is there an escape plan?

**Disclaimer I knew there were always arseholes here, but now it feels like they have completely taken over. I'm out more than in these days (re MN) but I do kind of miss the fun, humor, intelligence and knowledge of the forum how it used to be.

The only posters that piss me off are the ones who post aibu and then get arsy if you say they are and the cunts who correct spelling.

Some posters think that being nice to a poster who wants a bit of support is not the done thing on MN.

They chuck around their Hmm faces and get a grips like their whole reason for being on MN is to be as unpleasant as possible.

According to my MN laughometer spreadsheet, it's absolutely NOT as funny as it used to be. Though possibly this is down to dilution (as discussed above), rather than the funny stuff not being here (just harder to find).

On the whole people are lovely, but yeah, sometimes people can be arseholes, and talk to you like you're a twat. Then again, I can be a twat too haha. One thing I hate about a couple of other sites I frequent is how people drag up your posting history, and it's not that easy to do that here. So I like that about MN. Also, you can make up a new name here (under your regular account iyswim.) So people can't drag up stuff from your regular username.

In addition, another site I go on enables you to 'thank' peoples posts, and people in 'cliques' get 20 'thanks' whilst you only get 3 or 4, which makes the person with the most 'thanks' look more right! Really pisses me off. That's what I like about here, it's not possible to do that.

agree, it's less funny now. Lots of made up pointless shit that. The 'funny' threads aren't as funny as they used to be.

The wit has gone. It's been dumbed down significantly IMO (for ad revenue) so- this is what 'they' want.

I've been around since the dawn of MN, on and off, under a hundred different names, and I've always been a massive cunt. If anything I'm nicer now not much though

It's not as funny I agree with that. Seems to be lots of posters with agendas. It gets a bit Groundhog Day sometimes.

But MN isn't compulsory thankfully.

I must admit, I've had some laughs on MN but I've never thought it was particularly funny, either years ago or now.

I have to agree with itsmine, in that some people probably thought it was funnier than it really was.

Then again, some people found Penis Beaker funny, so it's horses for courses I guess.

I think the all the user17384848483 type names probably make us think there are more miseries around, than there really is.

It might just be 2 or 3 but all the numbers look the same to me.
