Anyone having problems buying car insurance online and paying for it? I cannot get a sodding payment to go through

i have tried RAC insurance, and now Lloyds, and tried different cards (different banks) and now queuing on the phone, "experiencing high volumes of calls" (probably due to not being able to pay) STOP TELLING ME TO GO ONLINE!!!! It doesnt fucking work

Not sure but with my car insurance I could set it up online but had to call to actually seal the deal - the woman on the phone said it was because I'd changed one of the options (just to one of the pre-selected options nothing fancy). I'm with admiral.

do you have pay pal? might be worth a go on that.
or it could be a glitch with the website, hence the high call volumes.
try to ring them later on maybe?
does sound a bit odd, normally the payment bit is the one bit that goes smoothly!

When you say your payments are not going through, what exactly do you mean? Are they being declined, what error message are you getting? I always buy my insurance online and can't say that I have ever had a problem.

it was doing fraud checks, but the bank messages werent coming through, then i had to CALL them, and the operator said "it will take 15 mins to go through the quote"

i was like ARGGHGG - but she was very good and i apologised to her at the end of the call, and told her she was a credit to the company!!
