It's a tiny strap that rests below her bunion/big toe joint and you'd think the shoe would just fall off as she walked....

I have a similar pair and the heel strap is very small, so from certain angles, it doesn't look like there is one. They are really comfortable and stay on a treat, no tape, araldite or superglue required.

Please remember she's a rich woman who's had no children. Of course she looks good. She hasn't endured pregnancy (which ages a woman's body) nor raised children (which ages you mind, body and soul lol). Plus she has the time and money for beauty treatments. We'd all look that good if we'd lived her life

if you look at the photo TOLBIC posted you can see that they have a slight back to them, basically like the pic somanyshoes posted but it is solid rather than a strap.

It's still magic though, I'd be on my arse in about 10 seconds.

Strap round back of heel. I had a pair of similar shoes years ago. They were soon flattering for the not so long leg but were surprisingly easy to wear.

I saw her last night in Life of Crime, and I enjoyed it. She was by far the best actor. Didn't recognise Tim Robbins.

I've not seen Cake, just watched the trailer, looks good.

It's on my to watch list AF. Some of her roles surprise me, Derailed was very hard to watch but she gave a great performance as far from her usual rom coms as you could get.

I've just ordered Cake from Amazon 97p plus £1.26 P&P. Nice one.

I thought so, Navy. Certainly somewhat of a departure for her. She plays a woman suffering from chronic pain who gets obsessed with suicide. The acting is exemplary.
