So now they've dumped the aloe Vera and they are now onto the weight loss coffee. "Welcome to the family " they all chant like Stepford wives. And I've now deleted them all. I can take no more.

Thanks You, I thought so 🙄

LucklessMonster · 25/02/2017 21:53

I wish I had some of these on Facebook. Sad

londonrach · 25/02/2017 21:54

Im disappointed..ive yet to have a single fb book that sells anything and i do have a decent amount of friends (300) as ive moved a few times and fb excellent to keep in touch. I do love reading about them on mn as its the closest i get to interest on fb.

londonrach · 25/02/2017 21:55

Friend not book

Lolimax · 25/02/2017 21:59

I'm very jealous I haven't got a coffee bot. Do they sell from the bath as well? Not sure I'd be any use as I'm allergic to caffeine.

PiratePointyTits · 25/02/2017 22:58

I've got a Juice Plus bot on my FB.
She's a very sensible, level headed, hardworking mum of two so it makes it very bizarre to hear her live feeds about her "journey" into health and wellness. She'd normally be the one taking the piss.
One of her fruit capsule pushing posts has just backfired though. It was stating the costs of a punnet of berries and that these fruit capsules are cheaper in the long run and far superior to the actual fruit. Please ask her about them to start your journey to health and happiness!!
Her friends have commented "oh but Aldi have 2 for 1 this week" , someone else has said the best time to go for reduced fruit and veggies is later on in the evening etc.
Not one person has asked her about the capsules.

The thing I find most irritating though is her posts about working mothers and pitying them for spending so long out of the house away from their children while they do their mundane 9-5's. Her children are much happier and healthier apparently since she is spending more quality time with them. That maybe so, but it's the smug , underhanded way it's being delivered that shits me.
I don't think it's her words though, it's a different writing style to her normal. It's a J+ cut and paste job.

minimonkey11 · 25/02/2017 23:10

I have an ariix friend. I can only describe her as being sucked into a cult. I am saddened by her complete change of personality and this week she has given up her job so she can be #awesome full time ffs

user1484394242 · 25/02/2017 23:44

The coffee one worries me. Have you seen the ingredients?

to be so fed up of my mlm friends and colleagues
Bananamanfan · 25/02/2017 23:47

Is Temple Spa an mlm thing?

LunaAzul · 26/02/2017 08:00

I have a Younique seller as a FB friend. She's recently been posting videos of her crying as she is so #blessed to be selling such wonderful products...

Dinocat · 26/02/2017 08:25

I have a few friends doing the Usborne Books thing. Don't know if it's mlm but the constant 'hey! Thought about hosting your very own book party?' posts and endless pics of happy customers (ahem, their own kids) are so annoying! I am so tempted to unfriendcwhen I see them pop up!

garmsfresh · 26/02/2017 11:23

Pearl parties is all I see on my FB wall 😩

OneLumpOrSeven · 26/02/2017 11:23

My fb is full of pearl parties. I really don't understand them.

sailorcherries · 26/02/2017 11:28

I had actually considered Usborne Books while on maternity leave, however I'd never have the brass neck to sell to people on facebook. I considered more going to the local private nurseries, leaflet drops at soft play and parent toddler groups etc.

Would that still be counted as equally annoying?

Runny · 26/02/2017 11:43

I've got someone at the moment who is rabidly trying to recruit me to her Avon 'team'. I barely know her and im getting constant messages asking me to sign up to make some extra cash, thing is ive sold Avon before and know that you only really make a profit at Christmas. I also have a family member who sells it, so I'm hardly going to step on her toes and steal her custom am I?

Her Facebook profile and cover photos and now the Avon logo. She apparently goes to these conferences in the hotels all over the place as well.

Cherrysoup · 26/02/2017 11:52

TBF I lost a lot of weight when I had coffee for breakfast, coffee and a fag mid morning, then coffee and crisps

Same, I was on the 'supermodel' diet of fags and black coffee, I dropped stones in months, but that was because I just never ate. There are times when I almost wish I still smoked. Almost.

I'm very sad that there's no FB friends of mine pushing this shite. :(

Dinocat · 26/02/2017 12:39

Personally no, I wouldn't find that as bad Sailor, maybe it's the face to face interaction? Or more likely to be one off/occasional than a bombardment?!

sailorcherries · 26/02/2017 12:53

Yeah I couldn't do the whole bombardment of friends and family thing.

MyCatsHateMLMtoo · 26/02/2017 18:28

To those considering selling with usborne, have a read of this experience from TimelessVie: timelessvie.wordpress.com/2017/02/20/i-put-the-whole-lot-on-ebay-it-mustve-been-worth-several-hundreds-of-pounds-and-i-got-about-30-back-today-usborne-forever-living-ex-bots-speak/#comments

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 27/02/2017 13:04

Luna is she crying from the weight of the eyelashes? Wink

MaisyPops · 28/02/2017 19:44

sailorcherries
That would be different. A friend of mine does Usbourne and she does leaflets and also sells some through her nursery and mammy friends. No pressure and she l9ves the books.

Just dont do death by raffle and in your face facebook posts etc

boobah23 · 06/03/2017 16:58

A Facebook friend has started doing this now. Some kind of weightloss thing, but ALL her posts are now linking into weightloss. Nobody's liking any of her posts, but she's not getting the message. It's like the friend is being replaced with this selling-robot. She doesn't even post photos of her kids any more!

Kitkit2017 · 08/03/2017 18:40

Omg I hate this MLM CRAP! it's all over my fb!!! Uplift and empower women crap!

Seaturtle08 · 25/10/2017 02:23

I dropped a casual friend who became a Juice Plus rep. When my best buddy was in,the final stages of cancer (hospice) she had the gall suggest that he sign on for Juice Plus to improve his health.

Nicknacky · 25/10/2017 03:43

One of the women from my work is an Ariix one. What galls me is we are cops and she uses that in her videos and has also posted photos of her in part uniform punting the crap. The police are mega strict about second occupations so god knows how she gets away with it.

She is always boasting about how much money she makes part time selling it so I do wonder why the hell she would bother working shifts if she is making sooooooo much money........

I had to deal with her last night and can't take her seriously now. And she has recruited a couple of the naive young female cops who are just back from mat leave.
