Go onto my registration details and then scroll down to your nickname, clear it , type in your new name and then scrool down a bit further and hit change details. Think thats how you do it! (cant remember exactly)

thanks

BarefootDancer · 01/03/2007 22:20

So, tell me, if you change your name, can someone sneak in and nick your old one, so you cant change back, or do you just have a choice of alter egos?

EmmyLou · 01/03/2007 22:30

I thinks its the choice of alter egos.

I'd fecking 'ave anyone that stole my post-modern semi-ironic yet tasteful oblique reference to rhinestones and tassled fringes.

EmmyLou · 01/03/2007 22:38

BTW, I'm all for hiding behind silly nicknames.

MN nicknames make me laugh, make me jealous (nickname envy can be cruel), stare quizzically at the screen, ponder, think of bubblegum i used to chew in secret, programmes I used to watch and books I haven't read in years.

pianist · 01/03/2007 22:40

I like changing my MN name frequently. Otherwise after a while everyone knows all about you, and I prefer to be anonymous!

EmmyLou · 01/03/2007 22:47

Do you follow a theme - or is it random?

pianist · 01/03/2007 22:48

Totally random.

rolloneaster · 01/03/2007 23:01

seasons at the moment

Flamedragon · 01/03/2007 23:06

I like bubbilicious too... although I liked pinkbubble.

Are you the one who is friends with pinkchampagne or is that the interloper?

rolloneaster · 01/03/2007 23:14

what's with all the dragon's are you into harry potter or lord of rings or just fantasy land ??? (don't meant this to sound as sarcastic as it sounds)

Flamedragon · 01/03/2007 23:17

Soupy said earlier that she gets taken aback when she sees another dragon... so we all turned into them.

I had already been a dragon from a while ago in a soupdragon stalking session ... I seem to recall her swiping me with her tail so I changed back

bubblicious · 01/03/2007 23:32

FD yes it is I pinkbubble(bubblicious) who is a very good friend(I hope) of pinkchampagne!

I hope you sorted things with your sister in the end

bubblicious · 01/03/2007 23:56

No I didnt, she never bothered to ring or come down Trouble is if she turned up on the door step tomorrow I would welcome her with open arms and forget about all the hurt she has given me and my DC!

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 02/03/2007 00:00

I know that one (not my sister, but other people)

Just take it as a sign that you are a good person

bubblicious · 02/03/2007 00:00

Cheers chuck! and you too!!!!

nappyaddict · 02/03/2007 00:27

i know the person who posted the message you are referring to and she was a namechanger. i don't think she realised there was a pinkbubble else she would have changed to something different. she is generally a very pink girl so was just something that came into her head i assume.

i used to have a different name when i first joined and then after a while noticed someone with a similar name (one like calebsmummy but with my ds' name) and i just thought ah how nice they like the name too. suppose its a bit different though.

so anyway if you want to change back then that would be ok cos i doubt she'll be using it again.

EmmyLouArris · 02/03/2007 12:33

Right, step outside then EmmyLou

yellowrose · 02/03/2007 12:44

Well, someone once posted as "yellowpoo" not sure if they were taking the piss or for real !

purplemonkeydishwasher · 02/03/2007 12:49

Twiglett · 02/03/2007 16:29

oh I see .. so infantile scatalogical references are more funny than wordplay now are they?

souperciliousdragon is by far the better pun

Rhubarb · 02/03/2007 16:30

Littlefish · 02/03/2007 16:59
