To think my MIL is an idiot!

I'm breastfeeding DC2, I also breastfed DC1. MIL said to me the other day:

"One thing that looks terrible is when you see a lady with a big chest breastfeeding a little baby. It just looks wrong."

Honestly cannot cope with this woman.

My MIL is lovely but irrationally worried that my milk will suddenly stop being good enough or I'll stop making enough and that for some reason baby rice / porridge / formula will be the answer.

This is despite DC having gone from 50th to 75th centile over the 5 months we've been at it.

I'm not sure if it was maybe common in the 80's for people to be told to switch to formula after six months because bf wasn't enough once you started weaning??

If I say 'food before one it just for fun' one more time I might go mad.

I just wanted to recommend Wifework too.
