AIBU - decent pyjamas?!

Hello ladies, I am looking for recommendations for where in the U.K. to buy decent cosy comfortable pyjamas that wash well. I am size 12 (more like a 14 on the bum!) and 5ft6. I have tried loads over the years... I always struggle to find styles I like in M&S as often too old for me (aged 30), or lacy frilly numbers designed by their latest celeb aimed at younger ladies which are not warm or comfortable. I gave Jack Wills a try because my husband's bottoms from there are lovely but the women's styles seem to be made for girls without curves as I needed a massive size to accommodate my bum but then they were enormous on the waist! I recently branched out and tried cyberjammies after reading some good reviews, but I find their sizes come up too small, the leg lengths too short (and I am hardly tall!) and they don't wash well. Where to go from here?! Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Sainsburys - had lots of nice PJ's from there - I'm wearing some right now - bright blue with pink flamingos on

M & S Autograph - great quality, flattering, longlasting, can buy as separates. They also do decent loungewear too.

Muji. So soft, gorgeous, comfy, great fit. I love them.

I like primark for myself but would never tumble dry them!

emma6776 · 23/02/2017 22:10

John Lewis (own brand ones), Hush or Boden. And they all have pockets!

RedBugMug · 23/02/2017 22:11

next
uniglo
both from the men's section

Boden. Not at all mumsy. I bought nice jersey ones - navy with gold foil spots and trim, and immediately went back for the white and gold pair. They're pricey, but they do good 30% off deals sometimes. And have washed beautifully so far.

Hunkermoller

Another vote for Sainsbury's from me.
You can buy online now too.

George at Asda. Super comfy, and wash well! Cheap and do the job perfectly!

reluctantlondoner · 04/03/2017 18:17

Thanks all for the recommendations. I will carry out a bit of market research and report back... have started by ordering some pjs from Boden! White Company ... why are they all white?! Who wants white pyjamas?!

Land End here too - have just bought two pairs in the sale, and don't want to get dressed, as they are so comfortable.

blackteasplease · 04/03/2017 20:09

I got bought some lovely Victoria's Secret ones for my birthday. Not at all "underwear-y".

MollyHuaCha · 04/03/2017 20:20

These look comfy.

Have a look at J Crew. Pricey but gorgeous. Good quality. I buy mine on Black Friday when they do 40% reduction across the store.

Allthewaves · 04/03/2017 20:27

I like supermarket bottoms then usually a men's plain t shirt

RockyBird · 04/03/2017 20:33

Costco do packs of two cotton pj bottoms. They're checked, crisp cotton that wash beautifully.

I wear mine with random vests.

Clue is kind of in the name there.
