i'm most likely to use the on here as i have a silly sense of humour and i have a mad grin in real life [think slightly deranged], i like the emojis in general but i cannot stand that stupid crying with laughter one.
dc and dh are on fb and they point it out on posts to me to wind me up as it is so irritating, it seems that it is one of the most frequently used with mildly amusing posts and hardly worth a smile let alone wetting yourself over. 'my 6 yo dd spilt baked beans on the table' said emoiji x 4 .really ? ffs how is that so funny ?

Also dislike the one with popping hearts instead of eyes - nauseating in more ways than one.

Up til recently, all emoji came in just one colour.

Then it was decided that all of the "human-looking" ones should be able to be set to a variety of shades of white/beige/brown.

If your phone can do it, you can choose the colour each time. Often your phone will remember your preferred colour and so every human-looking emoji will come out with that colour, even if you didn't specifically choose it this time.

If your phone/app/browser doesn't have the little pictures for "princess with medium-dark skin tone", it'll show you princess followed by the medium-dark stamp shape.
