cozie I agree there is far too much uncertainty to realistically consider a 2nd referendum but there is equally much uncertainty about what's coming down the line with Brexit & sturgeon/SNP would no doubt make capital on that v uncertainty with a 2nd referendum. I hate to even say it but, if the US is capable of voting in trump despite all the YUGE clues of how much a disaster that would be, the Scots are not immune from voting for something that logically would create massive amounts of uncertainty & instability.
The polls just now as I understand it show less support for a 2nd referendum or independence but I think how Brexit is handled by the tories could have the potential to swing more support.
I caught the tail end on Mandelson speaking in the Lords about Brexit yesterday & even though I think he's a toady twat, he made some valid points about that lack of detail in what the Brexit exit package will look like & it's also I think been mentioned on these threads that even though remain lost the Brexit vote, it's not reasonable to exclude that section of the country from the considerations on how to tackle the negotiations. That is particularly relevant when it comes to Scotland & Brexit I think.
As I said I'm no expert - it's just a sense I get from living here & watching it all play out.
