So I have a terrible cold and feel very spaced out. I've barely slept in a week because of coughing and blocked nose. Decided to try and have a nap after I dropped the DTs off at school this morning.
I had just dozed off when the doorbell rings. Half asleep, I grab my dressing gown (taken out of the tumble drier earlier). The belt had come off in the tumble drier, as they do, so I'm holding the gown closed with one hand.
So picture this: I open the door - nose red from the cold, coughing like crazy, voice very hoarse, wild hair, clutching a dressing gown closed with one hand. So it's the postman and he hands me a few parcels. Not being of sound mind I reach out with both hands to take the parcels. Of course this causes my gown to fall open. Mr Postman's eyes immediately drop to my crotch and he stands there staring at me in my full nakedness. Coughing and spluttering, I hastily step back and try to slam the door shut, but manage to stumble, which causes my gown to open even more.
I can't move (I've only just moved in), so AIBU to think I should have plastic surgery immediately so he doesn't recognise me again? Or should I just leave the country?
