Loved Breaking Bad. Was totally hooked.

Hate zombie/weird shit. Ta.

I love The Mentalist but not available on Netflix as far as I'm aware.
Also Sons of Anarchy and Prison Break.

Stranger Things will probs be too creepy, I tolerate it but don't enjoy it particularly, I hate horror stuff too.

Orange is the New Black started off good but the last series missed the mark for me a bit.

Once Upon a Time is easy viewing but is a bit same-y after a while!

thesockgap · 18/02/2017 23:07

Not sure if these count as "Box sets" but they are all bloody brilliant series:

Line of Duty
Happy Valley
Unforgotten
No Offence
Stranger Things
Better Call Saul
River
Homeland
The Wire
The Sopranos
Boardwalk Empire

can't think of any more off the top of my head - but these are a pretty good mix of UK and US dramas with a bit of black comedy thrown in to a few of them too. :)

DaisyDando · 18/02/2017 23:11

Boardwalk Empire. It's the best.

SandrasAnnoyingFriend · 18/02/2017 23:12

I struggle to find tv that isn't utterly mind numbing. If you've missed any of the below, rectify immediately!

The Wire (the best ever)
Boardwalk Empire
House of Cards
The Night Of
Peaky Blinders
Parks and Recreation
Happy Valley
Fargo
The Honourable Woman
Westworld

Recently also enjoyed Goliath, but it's a bit silly in places.

honeylulu · 18/02/2017 23:14

Damages
Line of Duty

Sundance01 · 18/02/2017 23:20

OITNB
John from Cinncinati
The shield
Shameless - USA

YouTheCat · 18/02/2017 23:24

Dirk Gently: Holistic Detective Agency.

Utterly brilliant!

Jessica Jones is fantastic.

Loved iZombie, even though I'm not keen on zombies.

Rocket1982 · 19/02/2017 04:26

Black mirror, though not a series in the traditional sense - all episodes are independent.

Vanillabanilla · 20/02/2017 16:57

If you have Prime, definitely look at The Man in the High Castle. Best thing I've watched in a long time.

Many of the above
Plus top of the lake

Laurendisorder · 20/02/2017 20:12

I know my favourites have been mentioned (including my favourites: The Wire, The Sopranos, Mad Men, & Deadwood - which is only a 3 not 5 series! Such a shame) - but I don't think anyone has mentioned Weeds (which is also very funny!) and helped the loss after BB! I hate fantasy bollocks butdo love GoT (am in love with Peter Dinklage - which isn't weird!). Enjoy

Christmasnoooooooooooo · 20/02/2017 20:14

Grimm

NewUserName01 · 20/02/2017 20:20

I loved Breaking Bad too.

Have you seen 'Better Call Saul'? It's a must if you enjoyed Breaking Bad.

Also enjoyed:
Fargo
House of Cards
Homeland

Enjoyed the first couple of episodes of House and then got very bored with it.

Laurendisorder · 20/02/2017 20:22

I have told by someone whose judgement I rate to watch:

Transparent

  • but have not seen it - not sure if anyone else has seen and can give an opinion? But I did like The Larry Sanders Show, Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm - plus Dag if you want Scandi comedy rather than drama??
PrincessPeach08 · 20/02/2017 20:26

Suits
Sons of anarchy
Boardwalk empire
The good wife
Banshee
