Is 15 and 16 old enough to travel on the train for 5 hours with 2 changes together with no adult?

Yes of course! I can't see a problem with that at all.

Depends what they are like. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to travelling (seriously geographically challenged and I can't follow directions).
Yes they are old enough though

Mine usually travelled to Switzerland on their own at 14 - trains, planes, bus. I'd be worried if a 15/16 year old couldn't manage it.

Thank you everyone for your responses it's my dd and her friend going to a activity camp. We live in a village and she does not go into towns that much but her friend is used to being out and about on her own. I know she should be fine I was not much older than her when I was actually living in my own place. All details will be written out and she has already looked at the route.
