Crying at Macaroni Cheese No-Show

I sound like a loon, I know, but I was meant to be having macaroni cheese for dinner tonight and it didn't happen. I got unreasonably emotional and had to go upstairs to cry about it.
Please make me feel better with your stories of inexplicable grief at ridiculous things!

I'll never forget. Dp had his mate over. We had a couple of beers and we decided to get a Chinese. They walked to get the food and I laid out plates. I was litteraly salivating at the thought of crispy shredded beef, chicken fried rice and crispy seaweed. They came back and started dishing up. The cockwombal of a Dp had only ordered me rice because he was pissed and had forgotten the rest. I swear I'll never forget that sense of utter sadness.

I made macaroni cheese when pregnant with Ds. For some reason it was lumpy! So I had the great idea to sieve it... right down the waste disposal and not over the macaroni. I burst into tears and I was howling for about an hour and Dh had no idea why or what to do to help me!

Groovee, he couldn't think to make you some more or go to the shop?!

Groovee · 17/02/2017 17:44

No he was trying to get his mum to make some as Dd wouldn't let him cook cos he kept burning her tea 😂. Plus shop bought isn't the same. But MIL was out.
