White House: Deportations Will ‘Prevent Crime Before It Happens

They need to get people to report on their neighbours about suspcious activity...(just like the Prevent agenda)

Miller also agreed 100% with the statement that San Bernardino was by immigrants from countries not in the ban, but then diverted.

They simply cannot prevent every terrorist attack. Either by foreigners or even US born.
Certainly not by preventing people from entering the country.

FarAwayHills · 12/02/2017 17:26

I follow just to keep an eye on what he's saying. Other than the updates here the media is not reporting what he says everyday and I like to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak.

Lweji · 12/02/2017 17:26

Mark Cuban was very vocal against Trump during the campaign. I have no idea where Trump's tweet came from.

nicenewdusters · 12/02/2017 17:27

Thanks for the advice about following on Twitter. I didn't know you could respond without following. Although I'm just a grain of sand in the desert that is Trump's mind, my not following him feels like a figurative two fingers.

Am really enjoying the Melissa McCarthy as Angry Spice. Can't help thinking that re-enacting her sketches would be a good tool for a course on stress relief. If I was feeling really pent up I'd love to run around with that podium, chewing gum and shouting.

amispartacus · 12/02/2017 17:29

How do you prevent attacks?

I don't think antagonising a group helps prevent radicalisation. If anything, it is going to be just another recruiting tool for ISIS.

Has anyone seen any politician asked this question?

Only part way through catching up on this but just got as far asillegitmortificado's comment about lego batman - I've been thinking that based on the trailers alone and mentioned it to a friend the other day who immediately said oh my god, you're right!

When attacks have been prevented it seems to have been at the stage of bomb building, or dismantling cells.
Just blocking random people seems ineffective.

And I'd say that alienating whole groups does increase the likelihood of terrorism and aggression in general.

cozietoesie · 12/02/2017 17:54

Any views that you can find from the peoples in said groups?

GingerIvy · 12/02/2017 17:54

By the way, the video I posted at 17:46:04 is brilliant. Caught them out in lies, and they got nailed by a SC court. Grin

One of them is going to distract him with candy while the other one steals them and runs off.

Ginger your post at 18:13 - that actually made me feel a bit sick - that's the scariest thing I've read on here so far.

SCROTUS! PMSL!

DH has been gone since Wednesday so I've had the TV pretty much off. These threads have pretty much been my source of news (and entertainment) since then.

Thanks for the sanity!

GingerIvy · 12/02/2017 18:31

nice and peace I have to agree. It's scary. I'll point out that as an American, I did NOT vote for him. (just so we're clear) But sadly, I know many many who did and who still support him.

FantasticButtocks · 12/02/2017 18:31

Yes Ginger that was an excellent clip Grin Whenever I watch something like that, or even the comedy sketches, or the America First videos, I wonder whether DT ever sees any of them. If he worries at all that he will be brought down, or is he just 100% confident that he can bulldoze over absolutely every thing and everyone?
