Mil is worried and getting a bit judgy about our parenting after reading something about rice cakes containing poison or something. Has anyone else heard about this?

o for goodness sake, narky, what is it that you don't believe now? That air takes up a significant proportion of the volume of a rice cake? Stick it on your kitchen scales if you don't believe me!

Or do you think the stretch receptors and "second brain" are a figment of my imagination too.....

It's the same with drinking too much water I suppose as you fill a space with something that is devoid of calories. yes, exactly, I'm always pretty frustrated with parents that expect children to drink water with meals, then are surprised they don't eat enough!

drinks AFTER meals, not with them.
