I was referring to the NYT article about the 14th November phone call.

The problem with that is that it states he told China he would agree with the One China policy. it states that prior to that he hadn't spoken to him since 14 November. But the whole premise of the article is that Trump TOLD China he'd agree to it. Clearly he had to communicate with China's leader to tell him that. It's not like he tweeted it to him. So yeah, it was pretty obvious that Trump had just spoken to China.

The online article is re the One China policy that Trump agreed to. Since his phone call was last night, I presume the article was already in print prior to the phone call. As they put a new article out last night as soon as the phone call was made known, I can't see what else they were expected to do. That's not fake news. That's just timing, which can't be helped.

Oh, I agree Ginger but there's every chance that tweeting in the early hours of the morning Trump was reading the original version of the story - and jumped on it as FAKE NEWS. It wouldn't matter to him (even if it had crossed his tiny dinosaur mind) that the writer couldn't have known about a call he'd had late yesterday at the time he wrote the original story.

True. He's not known for his restraint.

I'm waiting for the reaction from the WH regarding that tweet of Angry Spice in the dress. It was brilliant.
