Upon reflection, I hope they do take Flynn and Conway down.

Acolytes should understand that if they blindly follow their leader, they can get in serious trouble.
That should restrict Trump's movements, even regarding future appointments.
However, it could also mean that GOP loosens regulations.
I'm not sure that would go down with the Drain the Swamp voters, though.
