To wonder how many best friends / friends you have?

There's often posts on MN about fallings out between friends. Was wondering how many people you have in your inner circle, friends and best friends plus OH if you have one.

Also are they people you've known ages or are fairly new friendships. Is there anyone that makes you want to scream? What kind of stuff do you do?

4 best friends. Absolutely loads of friends. I'm lucky.

I've DH and 4 very good friends, 3 I've known forever, other is a mummy friend who I've got to know over last few years.

Plus loads of people that I know -would stop to have a chat if I saw them or might end up in each others company at a social event but wouldn't actively stay in touch with.

DH and I were talking about this earlier, we are both happy in our own company, I need time alone or I go a bit crazy.

Star I'm sorry to hear about your illness and that your friends haven't stepped up to the plate.
