I'd say magnesium. Helps my sleep and makes me feel less anxious.

Something I forgot to mention about D3 is the effect on skin tanning. Found by experience that it protects from burning.

My D3 was at optimum range, I didn't burn in the sun and nor did I get the dreaded Prickly Heat which I'd suffered from on every holiday for the first few days.
Now knowing it's until the massive D3 (36,000 iu) from the sun's first hit took effect. Lying with flannels and ice cubes on my chest is not the look I was aiming for. The burn and rash is due to low D3 as we now know.

There was an advocate of vd3 on MSE maybe 25 years ago, named Ted Hutchinson. He tried to explain how the Canadians had established this deficit and how so many could be cured of so much by the sunshine vitamin for a few pence per day.
The Canadian longitude being similar to ours and how much research they had poured into it. The fact that Scandi are not sunshine deprived as their food is fortified with Vit d3 gave further proof. That's when I got interested.
Ted not only had an angry manner, but blinded us with science. However, he was right all along.

I'd say Ted Hutchinson should be hailed as the pioneer of all Vitamin D3 in the UK.

See what I mean? Why doesn't he make it readable for the common masses?

High strength cod liver oil with vitamin d has made a world of difference to my aching joints, gardening no longer sees me as stiff as a board the following day.I've also been taking silica complex for the past few months and the difference to my skin, hair and nails is quite noticeable.

Ted, come and tell us in simple terms why we should take 5000iu per day and what to give our children so they don't burn on their summer holiday. Dosage and when to take it?
I think at least 3 months ahead. D3 takes a long time to take effect.
No charts, just what you'd recommend your wife and children take and why?

Vitamin B12 injections

I became very ill about 18 months ago, and was in hospital for two weeks, I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia and given loading doses of B12

I have some issues due to the anaemia, but I'm much better now, my next jab is due on 28th February

I also have Iron Deficiency Anaemia, and a severe Vitamin D deficiency, so I take iron, folic and Vitamin D daily
