AIBU to post here I know but I need help fast.

I haven't worked for anyone else for about 8 years. I've been self employed. Now I need to apply for work....I have NO idea where to begin with my CV.

Is there some reliable template which won't look crappy and which will make me look like I know what I'm doing please?

The one on The National Careers Service website is a good one.

Oh! I've linked this one before. It's a really useful site. It gives 'suggestions' as to what's your position entailed, helps with the wording, etc. All as well as the layout.

Resume Star is a free app that helps you build your CV on your phone then email/print it out as a pdf. Really good quality.
