Happy Birthday Mrs Knack!
Did you mean this is an actual landmark birthday - or a landmark birthday because he got you a gift?
Was it a good gift?
Could today be a day for some online shopping if you can't be bothered going out while he's at work?
TELL him you would like to go out for dinner later, with or without DC.

Happy birthday Mrs! Cake hope you have a wonderful day and are made to feel very special by your loved ones.

Birthdays are a big deal in our family whether you're young or old. It's the one day where all its all about you! I normally get presents from dh, the dcs, my siblings, mum, dpils, sil and a few friends. On top of that most of my friends send me a card. At home, the kids usually bake a cake with their nanny and they and dh put balloons up around the house. So no, not low key at all.Grin

It's dps birthday today. Unfortunately he's got to work so I let him open his presents yesterday. He's a big rugby fan so I've stocked the fridge with beers and pizzas and his friends are coming over to watch the England match later.

Lowering the tone somewhat, he's hinted (actually, flat out asked for) a birthday, ahem, treat, but quite frankly I don't think the occasion quite calls for it. Maybe next year when he turns 40 Grin
