To wear children's clothes even though I'm in my late 40s? (Pic)

Both the jeans and the top are from Tesco, 13-14 years boys' (I haven't tried on any girls' stuff, I don't like fitted tops... or fitted anything, really). So much cheaper than adult clothes, and I think they look cool. Blush Oh, and I already have some 13-14Y knickers from ASDA, I think they were £2.50 a pack. They are baby pink Hmm but no one at work will see that. Grin Anyway, I haven't actually bought this outfit, but this weekend I might just explore the children's clothes section in a few supermarkets. AIBU?

I once got a pair of purple 'snakeskin' trousers from Asda 13/14yo when I was 41, just given birth to dd and lost enormous amounts of weight. They were seriously uncool but they were also great! Grin

Update: today I've bought a pair of H&M 13-14Y boys' trousers - for £2 in a charity shop Grin. They're already drying on the radiator - I'm going to wear them to church tomorrow!

DianaMemorialJam, thank you Blush.

I think you look very cool. Just don't wear the same thing as your DC on the same day lol. Grin But honestly, it looks perfectly nice and trendy, so go for it.

One of my vertically challenged teachers used to bring her infant school aged child in with her if she was off when we weren't.
Often they'd be wearing matching dressed clearly from the children's department, and often very childish in frills and ribbons etc.

Not a good look really.
However no one would have dared say anything as teacher was seriously scary.
