She's pretty but, my gawd, I can't stand her! I like Lip Sync Battle (US version) but don't know why she's on it, glad DH finds her annoying too so we can skip past her existence on that show.

KittensWithWeapons · 03/02/2017 00:23

I have no idea who she is, but 'he looks like a total prat lately, with an out of control missus'. Seriously? Men, control your women! Jaysus, you might end up looking like a man who can't control their 'missus' if you dare let your partner speak publicly ShockAngry.

Twogoats · 03/02/2017 00:26

According to Blind Gossip, her "wardrobe malfunction" was planned...

Crispbutty · 03/02/2017 00:36

He's the one with the talent and seems a fairly humble bloke while she is the one who laps it up, and quite honestly he looks embarrassed by her.

It's just as easy for it to be the man in a relationship basking in the woman's fame, so don't accuse me of being sexist.

In this instance it is her using his fame and talent to promote herself.

tabulahrasa · 03/02/2017 00:38

I never get her on my Facebook feed, so either you've got friends that really like her and are liking things with her in or you've clicked on enough things that Facebook has decided she's someone you're interested in...so uabu because neither of those things are her fault.

brittabot · 03/02/2017 00:39

I don't think he looks embarrassed by her and why would he?

She is entertaining and smart on twitter and I think she looks amazing. I don't understand why people care so much about celebrities, if you like her pay attention if not then it's really easy to ignore.

KittensWithWeapons · 03/02/2017 01:09

'so don't accuse me of being sexist'. I don't think anyone did, Crispbutty. In fact, you're the only one who mentioned your being sexist, on this thread Confused.

So if we were talking about a man 'basking' in a woman's fame, how would you describe him? As her 'out of control mister'?

SingingInTheRainstorm · 03/02/2017 04:25

I can't decide if she's as bad as the Kardashians, although she's supposedly good friends with Kim, so that's a straight yes. I can't stand the whole celebrity thing. Giving our DC's unrealistic expectations.

PetalMettle · 03/02/2017 05:27

I wasn't a fan of the fannyflash dress. Dunno if the malfunction was planned but it was always likely at least

Poppet1974 · 03/02/2017 07:29

*I think she is an attention seeking fuckwit, with a husband who is either looking embarrassed next to her or like a nodding dog.

Her recent "wardrobe malfunction" was utterly cringeworthy and clearly designed to ensure she got the media headlines.

How any woman can think flashing her fanny to the world while stood with her husband is cool I have no idea.

She is a professional bandwagon jumper and he looks like a hen pecked sheep following her*

100% the above

EdmundCleverClogs · 03/02/2017 07:40

Women can't do right for doing wrong sometimes Hmm. She has a very famous husband, she's not an 'unknown' herself, and uses her position to talk about fertility issues, breastfeeding, body shaming, racism, etc. Does she sometimes use her position to gain more attention to herself? Possibly, but there are other celebrities out there who do far more harmful promotion than good. I think she's a much healthier role model for young women than most out there.

LullabelleBates · 03/02/2017 08:29

LemonScentedStickyBat

Chrissy Teigen is not the problem here - you just need to unfollow Buzzfeed - she'll disappear from your life

That has to be one of the most brilliant 'comeback' lines I've ever come across. Perfect Smile

GinIsIn · 03/02/2017 08:34

I don't think she gives young people unrealistic expectations at all, as Singing and some others have said - one of the things I really admire about her is that unlike 99% of celebrities, she is happy to be open about embarrassing or imperfect aspects of her life too. Yes, she's beautiful, but in terms of pregnancy and parenting for example - she has talked openly about post-partum incontinence, stretch marks, struggling to breastfeed, infertility.... I think that makes her a fairly good role model, myself.....

LemonScentedStickyBat · 03/02/2017 11:07

Why thank you lulabelle Blush

megletthesecond · 03/02/2017 11:12

Yabu. I bloody love her.

HalfShellHero · 03/02/2017 11:21

John Legend seems like such a calm collected gent, opposites must attract Grin

needalittleL · 03/02/2017 11:39

I love her! I'd like to be her friend. Her and her husband seem funny, down to earth and sensible. Not really sure what you are getting st. JK Rowling too? She's lush.

Prompto · 03/02/2017 21:37

She's hardly basking in her husband's fame or riding his coat tails, she had her own career before he came along and continued to work after meeting him. She's written cookery books as well as doing modelling and presenting.

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 03/02/2017 21:40

No idea who she is...

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 03/02/2017 21:45

Ok just googled, that dress is just awful-of course it was done on purpose as there is no fucking way you couldn't have flashed your fanjo in that!

PlanIsNoPlan · 03/02/2017 21:51
