... 8 types of frying pan, 7 teapots and 4 guitars.
Is it just me BU or is this excessive?

Is he really difficult to buy presents for? My dad probably has more than this because he's an awkward sod to buy for but doesn't see money as a 'real' present...so we buy shirts and alcohol. It's actually his birthday next week.

My DH has 50 pairs of jeans Sad and they all look the bloody same

CakeNinja · 02/02/2017 21:12

What's with the excess of teapots?! I thought my MIL was the only person who used them nowadays Grin
I own zero teapots!
We have a lot of clothes in general, I seem to have a growing collection of shoes and boots, and dp installed an alarmed building in our garden to house his collection of tools.
I mean, he uses them for his job, but tearing up the recently turfed garden with diggers to get the foundations dug, and get the concrete down there was not a happy time. It has now been returfed, but I'm still holding a secret grudge about the whole palaver Grin

He also owns about 35 tablecloth shirts in varying shades of blue!

Grittyshunts · 03/02/2017 18:18

languagelearner very true!! Grin

Grittyshunts · 03/02/2017 18:19

ThroughThickAndThin01 Shock why does he need so many shirts 😂

DJBaggySmalls · 03/02/2017 18:24

I counted and we have 5 teapots Blush
One big, one small, one medium and one used for coffee. and the really ugly one that unfortunately makes the best tea and pours well.

Ex DH owned over 60 pairs of white trainers.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 03/02/2017 18:25

Might not be that many Gritty but it's an awful lot 😀. He likes buying them, and doesn't get rid of any.

OverTheGardenGate · 03/02/2017 18:26

DH has 137 shirts

DH has more than 37 but fewer than 137 shirts.

Danglybits · 03/02/2017 18:27

DH has about that number of shirts.

But we have only one frying pan and only one teapot.

DisneyMillie · 03/02/2017 18:31

Dh has far too many clothes as he never throws any away even when they get really grotty - I've now implemented a one in one out rule!

Aridane · 03/02/2017 18:31

I have more than 100 pairs of panties Blush

patodp · 05/02/2017 18:07

Blimey Tickthroughthin. 137 is rather a lot

The reason for posting is because I'm worried about the space, as we dont' really have much space as we're planning another new LO.

But I'll go easy on him regarding the shirts, I guews it does save washing, but the huge pile of 30 or whatever shirts at the end of the month is a bit of a mountain. and he leaves them all over the floor Sad

60 pairs of white trainers Grin
Wow DH is beginning to sound normal.

In my house we have about 100 odd socks which I know I should throw - but what if I do and the other one turns up 🤔
