Bit not background ; I was married for 7yrs, We have three DC. When I met myg X he had some unusual behaviours, but also a very controlling and selfish family, he had been bullied at school and so had I. I knew he had quirks, bu until I had DD1 I did not have any problem. Long story short he was diagnosed with an ASD. Before the diagnosis and because his family chose not to inform me of the medical history. I became mentally unwell and the relationship became even more toxic when I was physically unable to look after things. It also emerged that bye was seriously addicted to porn and this got so bad that he raped me, wishing to acting out what he had seen.
We have had an acrimonious separation since then, (5 years this year) He has supervised contact. He was bitter and angry all the time and we could not get any decent situation for the children's sake. Until his parents moved away and he was no longer under their control again.
Things have been better and it has seemed like we are almost talking 'like we used to'
Now I have been sick since Thurs, bad cold, I have had each of the kids off sick and we had rearrange contact on Sat because of it. Then again today he was meant to have DS but he got sent home from school sick.I text my X and he rang. While we were talking he suddenly said "it sounds like you need something" to which I thought he meant like medication or something, I joked something like yeah a vitamin C injection . To which is replied " No I mean you need someone to, do you need like a nurse maid or...."
I replied that I had cooled alright before so I would be OK.
Now I have been thinking? Was he offering? Why would he offer too come and nursemaid me?
Is he angling to get back with me?
