That's a great point - the 'yes, but'.
If someone is saying that so and so a group is dangerous, look at their actions - then it can be countered with 'But look at these people and how they are standing up'.
It's 2 sides of the same coin - that's why people need to stand up and be counted.

And it probably is. If it's not about you and you don't want to get involved, it probably is.
But I've read Sophie Scholl's biography. I've read and seen the effects of hate. I know that people need to stand up and in WW2 and other conflicts, standing up can come at a price.
