Is it just me, or does the fact they're having to scramble to do this just emphasise the fact Trump pulled this EO out of his fat arse without consulting anyone who knows anything about this stuff? This is the only time I've heard Daddy say he's really glad to have taken early retirement over a specific thing. He's joked about it, but he was deadly serious this time. And he was working for Her Majesty's Government, he'd not have been stuck in the centre of the shit-show even. (Well, there's a chance he'd have been one of the people to be sent to the States, assuming we're sending some. Which we almost certainly are, albeit possibly not right now. Am starting to wonder if this week-long ECG, while it won't have captured any useful data because I Have Lurgy & have been in bed almost the entire time since it was fitted, might provide the first record of a human heart actually breaking.
