Hello everyone,

I am currently on the lookout to expand/ change my current makeup routine and was wondering what products you wear on a daily basis?

I use:

Max Factor Primer
Dior Forever Foundation (wouldn't recommend given the price and the outcome)
Revlon Concealer
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (not too keen)
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Collection Eye Brow Kit
Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Eyeliner (hate)
Benefit Cosmetics Bad Girl Lash Mascara (hate)
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick

What does everyone else use (as you can see I'm not too keen on current products, so I'm interested to know what everyone else uses!) ?Smile

I love make up so I have big boxes filled with tons of unopened products and every couple of months I make a few changes to my daily selection so at the moment this is what I'm using for daytime....

Primer - Bobbi Brown.
True Match foundation - L'Oréal.
Hervana blusher - Benefit.
True Match powder - L'Oréal.
Fierce Flicks eyeliner - Ciate.
Eye shadows - Urban Decay/L'Oréal.
Eyebrow pencil - L'Oréal.
Lash Glamour mascara - Bobbi Brown.

If I'm going out of an evening I will use a more expensive foundation/powder (Bobbi Brown or NARS).

I very rarely wear anything on my lips because I can't seem to find anything that stays on for longer than 10 minutes and I have tried a lot of different brands of lip colours, lip glosses, lipsticks, lip tints etc but I've always been less than impressed.

My daytime "look" is always natural but at night I will go heavier on eye shadow/liner/mascara etc. I would love to be able to contour but I can't do it no matter how many tutorials I watch!

When I bother it's Lily Lolo for everything except mascara, which I think is max factor.

Today I started of with Steamcream as my face is a bit sore and dry, then No7 Stay perfect primer, bought it reduced and it's good. Then Clinique CC cream for a bit of a soothing and moisturizing base. Dior Skinflash under eyes for dark circles and lines. I'm wearing Diego Dalla Palma Cold Metal eyeshadow trio, think slate grey, shimmer grey and Icey grey. Benefit They're real and Illamasque eye brow cake (powder). Smashbox LA Lights Silver Lake Sunset cream blush (can be used on lips too) and to finish of Diego Dalla Palma pink nude lipstick which is a peachy pale and matches the Smashbox cream blush perfectly. Phew seems a lot really but only took about 10 to 15 minutes to do and my skin looks glowing, thanks mainly to the Steamcream!

Loreal infallible matte foundation (was recommended on mumsnet as a dupe for EL doublewear) it's ace.
Rimmel Matte powder
Mua blusher in cupcake (£1 superdrug) excellent.
Loreal eyeliner
Max factor mascara
Max factor elixir lipstick

No 7's natural-looking foundation, forget its name, but best ever.
A Clinique or Bourjois chubby stick as I don't like heavy lippy.
Various black and brown eyemakeup, amount depends on day or evening.
Can't find a mascara that does the job properly - all flaky even £££ - so I tend not to bother.
Definitely no contouring. Those days have gone and it looked bloody awful anyway.

I don't go for expensive products, most of my make up is Avon and I have NYX mascara, collection eyeshadow, blusher and highlighter. I have 20 lipsticks all of varying shades of pinky brown, nude or red.

Every day -
Sleek primer
Bobbi brown foundation stick (I use artis brushes and it's easier to blend and put on my face than a liquid or pot of product)
Rimmel under eye concealer
Sleek eyebrow kit
Benefit hoola
Benefit "they're real" mascara

More time or more effort same as above but add -
Sephora eye primer
Urban decay naked 2 palette
Maybelline gel liner
Sleek powder contour kit
Bobbi brown highlighter block
Urban decay setting spray

If I'm going out I'll wear eyeliner, more blusher and a bit of bronzer to contour and a bright lip such as Marc Jacobs Boy Gorgeous or Mac Rebel, or Clinique Cherry Pop or any other of my HUGE collection! 😂
