Is it just me or do other people find news readers on tv and radio bloody annoying?
The way they string a sentence together and over pronounce words.
Example - a cat was found dead in a barn - just bloody say it!! Don't say a cat (pause) was found dead (pause) in a baaaarrrn - always extending the word out and putting on a downturned voice.
I'm sure in the old days when it was all presented by people with a 'posh' accent they just said it??
I really hope they don't actually talk like that in real life because I'd find a punch in the face would be on order!!!!
