Just back from sw meeting been going since beginning of jan all going greatSmile was looking forward to trying the new salted caramel bars went to get a box all fecking gone Shock like 2. Full boxes there's a few of the members that seem to buy 5/6 boxes a week .surely you don't need that amount when the meetings are once a week .

Maybe they're putting them on eBay? I agree that it s very selfish buying them all up and leaving others without.

Babyg1995 · 26/01/2017 21:01

Never thought of that barbara.

People at my group used to buy loads for friends that wanted the bars but didn't go to group. Used to piss people right off, especially when new flavours were out. My leader ended up putting a limit to 2 boxes each a week

Babyg1995 · 26/01/2017 21:05

Wish they would start doing that at my group so unfair on everyone else.

They go for a killing on ebay. It ridiculous

Starlight2345 · 26/01/2017 21:06

I have bought boxes for a friend who was having a break from SW..She is back again now though.

NickyEds · 26/01/2017 21:07

I do the shop at my group and some people go to sw and pay and so but two or three other members of their family are doing it too so they buy them for all of them. Some people buy them for friends.

UnicornButtplug · 26/01/2017 21:08

I loved hi fi bars. My boss always got me to buy her some when I was at SW

mickeyjohn · 26/01/2017 21:08

If you're trying to lose weight, you shouldn't need hifi bars at ALL - they are full of shit. SW is peddling crap to make themselves rich. Buy real food instead!

LimitedSedition · 26/01/2017 21:08

I buy a bit extra because DP likes or with his lunch. Three boxes and usually a mix and match affair. I wouldn't buy more than that at £2 a pop though when I've just paid £5 to walk in the door as well!

Today our consultant limited the new ones to one box each, bless her.

LC01 · 26/01/2017 21:11

Our consultant limits the new flavours to one box each. Last week, I brought four boxes - each a different flavour, as my husband and I are both doing SW and regularly use them as our HEX b, which is two bars.

UnicornButtplug · 26/01/2017 21:11

Jeez just looked on eBay! They are making a killing.

NickyEds · 26/01/2017 21:11

X posted with you hey, just looked on e bay! Bloody hell! I can't believe what they're going for.

Stormwhale · 26/01/2017 21:14

What is so good about them that people are buying them like this? Slimming world are clearly missing a trick and should go into selling them in supermarkets.

Fluffyears · 26/01/2017 21:19

Aw man I got a box last night and there were loads as well I coulda made a friggin fortune. Actually they aren't very good though I prefer the chocolate ones.

TizzyDongue · 26/01/2017 21:21

They are seriously sweet and lower in syns than other sweet snacks like chocolate bars Stormwhale. Which means people can get their Sweet tooth satisfaction in but still lose weight.

MrsTarzan1 · 26/01/2017 21:24

I bought some yesterday, they're lush! Hope you get some soon! x

Meow75 · 26/01/2017 21:29

I got some on Tuesday. They're okay, but not a patch on the Rocky Road. My DH runs the shop for the 7.30 group that we go to, and he limited the new ones to one box per person. In the 5.30 group, the shop person didn't. Lots of people who arrived later very pissed off that the first 4 or 5 people had all got multiple boxes.

Everyone in our session agreed that DH had been much fairer.

Babyg1995 · 26/01/2017 21:33

Absolutely love rocky road. I get that some people get for friends ect but still isn't fair on actual members missing out I buy 2 at the most usually only need to buy 1 though by next meeting they are a great alternative to a chocolate bar .

What are the ingredients?!

Babyg1995 · 26/01/2017 22:14

It's like a cereal bar with a little chocolate handy if your craving chocolate without having to have the high calories.

I did SW about 2yrs ago and the salted caramel ones were around then. They are bloody lovely though...
