AIBU to make son clean dog poo off his own shoes?

Just as the title says really. Should I clean dog poo off shoes for my kids? Obviously when they are little yes, but what age is it reasonable to expect them to clean it themselves? Thanks.

Probably the age where you are sure it will be done properly not walked through the house/left to stink...

I'd do it whilst they are at home/visiting my house, just to ensure it was done properly.
Unless, of course, they had been dog shit dancing...
