It's kind of the point of a crush I think, they can be on people you wouldn't necessarily want to be with in real life. I've had same sex crushes, crushes on long dead celebs, celebs as their younger selves, historical figures , all sorts, up to and including fictional characters.

Nope, not in my opinion! I've definitely "fancied" women in the past - as in, been hugely impressed by their beauty and presence and so felt nervous and shy around them as in with a "regular" blokey crush (I'm female).... If any of them at any time had actually approached me with, ahem, intent (!?) I would've run an absolute mile!!

I think maybe it's kind of like awe, maybe??

Actually, now I read PPs responses I do agree it probably is just a fantasy thing you just wouldn't necessarily eant in real life as I've had similar situation with (for eg much older) guys where I'm headed for the hills when reciprocated...

I always feel like sexuality isn't as cut and dry as people think and there are lots of different ways you can fancy people and be drawn to them.
