So, I'm on a Facebook forum. Someone is going through a divorce and is finding it hard.

Someone else said 'You are going to be okay! Divorce is tough but it won't last.'

I REALLLLLY want to ask what kind of crappy divorce lawyer did she have that it didn't last. The whole point of divorce is that it is permanent.

But I can't. Because someone is going through a hard time.

But I have a pent up response that needs to be posted, so iabu and posting it here instead.

Yes you did come across as that dim, now I just think your not a very nice person.

You have no idea if the person typing that has difficulties with the English language, you have no idea what heartbreaking situation they are going through.

I think your very lucky, I wish this is all I had to be angry about.

OP - I got the joke. And you made me smile with it. It is the sort of thing I do and some people miss the joke and I get into trouble. Others miss the joke and then when they get it make some point about it.

You didn't post as a response to the divorcing FB Friend - you made a comment here - which is fine!

Haha no of course it was obviously a lighthearted joke. I laughed!

I didn't get the joke and just thought you were thick. On the basis I don't know you/your humour I think that's not entirely inappropriate. Never quite get why people try and be sarcastic in this forum....
