Just gone in the kitchen to see paw marks all down my window, across the sides and up the stairs carpet! It regularly sits on my window ledge trying to get in and spreading mud all over my window, now it's gone and come in. What can I do about this? If anything.

Buy/borrow a Jack Russell.

We are selling up here, after 23 years, because of next doors cats x 6.

Just can't cope with the shit and the lack of sleep (from their wailing) anymore.

MissBattleaxe Grin my cat does this too. It's cute most of the time, although he has a special talent for stretching out across the stairs and refusing to let me pass especially when I'm in a hurry...!

JonSnowsWhore · 18/01/2017 20:49

I'm going to slightly stick up for the OP here, if they are council or housing association tenants, then she may be able to report it to the council/ha who will have a word with the neighbours about the cat being a nuisance & say they'll have to get it to stop or t be allowed pets as part of their tenancy anymore. I totally get that you can't tell vas what to do though, entitled bastards they are. If not council/ha tenants then as you all were Blush

Patriciathestripper1 · 18/01/2017 20:50

Ive told my two cats I'm going to report them both for muddying my windowsill and my window, and especially my ginger one for nicking my piece of uncooked steak at the weekend Shock

JonSnowsWhore · 18/01/2017 20:50

Cats, not vas!

TeatimeForTheSoul · 18/01/2017 20:50

HappyFlappy Grin

Please could you report our cat for seriously bad farts. He hold on til he's on my lap, then relaxes, and lets rip. I swear it's nearly singed my eyebrows its so bad.

WeAllHaveWings · 18/01/2017 20:51

Unless she has a cat in a rental property where pets are not allowing you can't report. If she is breaking her rental agreements it would be unkind to report as she would need to get rid of her cat or lose her home.

Shut the windows far enough so the cat can't get in. Spray with a super soaker whenever you see it. Scare out if it does get it. It will get the message and stop coming in.

robbo86otm · 18/01/2017 20:52

I don't know that the purrr-lice could help. I don't think a cat trespassing is a fel(ine)oney.

MissBeehiving · 18/01/2017 20:53

I bet it's a black and white cat. They really do give zero shits and generally have a "fuck you" attitude. Ginger cats come a close second.

milkmoustache · 18/01/2017 20:53

We are all feline your pain.

AnnieAnoniMouse · 18/01/2017 20:53

😂😂😂😂😂

Just that really.

Reporting a cat 😂😂😂

IAmNotAUserNumber · 18/01/2017 20:54

You must be feline pretty upset. Have you called the pawlice yet? They like to catalogue all these incidents.

Hercules12 · 18/01/2017 20:54

"Who'll you report them to? The dog?"
Pmsl

Cantusethatname · 18/01/2017 20:55

I don't know what you can do other than shout at it. Cats don't like feeling unwelcome and frightened. You could bang saucepans together and shout.
It honestly will get the message.

Backt0Black · 18/01/2017 20:55

definitely report.

To report my neighbour because of their intruding cat!

Apparently, lion manure keeps them away (do you live by a zoo? I do not mean harvesting it oneself!

Report my 3 legged cat for lying in a disabled bay and refusing to move till I had to pick him up

Zaphodsotherhead · 18/01/2017 21:01

Right, that's it then. I'm dobbing in my bastards myself. Four counts of stolen rubbish, two of 'looking at me funny' and one of missing the litter tray every single time. Even after I told him I'd sew his arse up if he did it again.

Pass me the phone.

Crazycatlady83 · 18/01/2017 21:08

Crazycat kept letting himself into next door and eating the residence cat's food. I tried to tell him neighbour was a vet but even that didn't deter him ....

Niskayuna · 18/01/2017 21:09

Get a cat of your own

robbo86otm · 18/01/2017 21:10

sobeyondthehills , but your cat is disabled so is surely entitled to use the disabled bay Grin

londonrach · 18/01/2017 21:11

Op talk to your neighbour. I think cats should be kept within their owners garden for their own protection. I have an on going battle with cats and my garden and poo. (Its cats poo as we see them doing it and i know what fox poo looks like). I have a patient who is dogged or catted by a local cat. Why cant he open his own window. I know people on mn love cats and i used too until i suffered with their poo and our new bushes which they killed (tom cat spraying). Now think of them as a pest. A cute pest but still a pest. (Dons flame proof hat). Seriously mntters cat lovers if a neighbours dog, cat, rat put muddy paws all over your carpet...what would you do? (Adds lion poo to hat)

MycatsaPirate · 18/01/2017 21:13

sobeyond Either I know you or there are two 3 legged cats who do this.
