To be so sad

N/c. identifying when linked with my usual name.

I have a very, very good friend who has had a difficult time recently. She's a bit all over the place (understandably) and I have been trying to support her. We've known each other for a very long time.

A conversation happened yesterday, the outcome of which I thought was her arranging to come and stay, then me going to stay with her in a few weeks. I can't go to her immediately because of my job. All seemed fine.

But overnight..I don't know what happened....I got a horrible message this morning saying I had said I had too much on to see her but that I had said she could come stay despite knowing that was very difficult for her.

i rang her straight away but no answer. Then I sent a message. She has now blocked me, as far as I can tell.

I'm so sad. Sad

She really is. Yeah, a letter isn't a bad idea.

She lives 3 hours away (hence not being able to drop everything and go)

She does, a bit.

Equally I feel pretty flipping hurt and angry.

No. She's always been a wee bit flaky.

But nothing like this, at least not to me.
