I seem to listen to every plane noise and terrify myself at the slightest change but these cancel out most of the noise and feel a bit like a safety blanket. Obviously, I could still feel any turbulence but that was okay as I could deal with that as my senses weren't bombarded with the noise as well.

Fab product. I can sort of see how they would work, I used to sit with my hands gripping the armrests, listening to every creak & sound!
