Have just gotten to the end of my favourite E Lauder concealer which they do not make anymore. Allergic to Touche Eclat. Does anyone know of a fab concealer that is easy to apply, lasts all day and doesn't 'sit' in wrinkles? If I don't find some soon I risk looking like an Alice Cooper-a-like forevermore....Grin

No 7 (white click one). It's excellent and less than half price of the YSL one

rockingthelook · 14/01/2017 23:15

Aldi do one in a clicky pen, but only out once or twice a year...and goes out of stock so quickly, only £2.99, I also wear Touche but this is comparable and a damn sight cheaper when funds are low!

nars creamy concealer or the stick one

OverByYer · 14/01/2017 23:21

Bobbi brown serum corrector
Bobbi brown concealer kit

It's ££s but lasts ages

elodie2000 · 15/01/2017 00:21

No7 concealer and believe me, I have proper dark circles under my eyes!

DailyFail1 · 15/01/2017 01:21

You need a sticky eye primer under your concealer to prevent it from sitting in wrinkles. I got a perfect one from Sephora whilst in the states but the UK doesn't seem to have anything even comparable.

DontFundHate · 15/01/2017 01:29

Hello. Sorry to jump onboard but by reading this lots of you have convinced me to give nars creamy a try (having tried almost all the other suggestions!). Currently use touche eclat number 1 and have dreaded panda eyes. Can anyone recommend the equivalent shade for nars? Im currently thinking creme brulee or vanilla possibly? Don't live anywhere near a store unfortunately.

MusicToMyEars800 · 15/01/2017 01:52

just a quick tip to all posters on here, if you don't already know this (i'm sure a lot of you do) ask for a tester/ sample to take home wether it is foundation or concealer, so many of them oxidize when you've been wearing them for a while especially when you go outside, and it's not always easy to see the outcome of the shade/tone on the back of your hand.

MusicToMyEars800 · 15/01/2017 01:58

house of fraser do nars, so if you live near one you could go in store and get a sample, if not i'm pretty sure you can order them online

DontFundHate · 15/01/2017 08:33

Wow never thought of asking them for samples, will send them a message thanks :)

BumWad · 15/01/2017 08:35

NRs creamy concealer. It is actually AMAZING

Note3 · 15/01/2017 08:53

Never thought about asking for samples. Thanks

cauliwobbles · 15/01/2017 08:59

Laura Mercier secret camouflage cream is amazing. You need so little of it and unlike Touché Eclait you don't look like a panda.

BrondeBombshell · 15/01/2017 09:08

surprised to read a good few people allergic to touch éclat

i have never used one of these but I really need to. i need one with good coverage that doesn't cake the lines under my eyes. under my eyes is a bit weathered now :-( so I definitely can't have anything that cakes at all.

A really creamy one would be best.

Somebody said something about colour corrective moisturiser. What colour corrects dark circles?

AtSea1979 · 15/01/2017 09:29

Just googled reverse panda eyes, I think I might be guilty of this Blush

Wolpertinger · 15/01/2017 09:30

Benefit erase paste corrects dark circles. Need an absolutely miniscule amount. Lastes for ever.

BeetlebumShesAGun · 15/01/2017 09:34

Another vote for The Collection Lasting Perfection, been using it for years!

BabyPigeon83 · 15/01/2017 10:39

I'm suprised no one mentioned the Urban Decay Naked concealer, it covers really well and it blends out like a dream. I can't be the only one liking it.

Clinique do their own version on touché eclat - it's slightly creamier and gives better coverage, and MOST IMPORTANTLY it doesn't irritate my skin with prolonged use, like so many people report!

RockinHippy · 15/01/2017 11:09

My daughter has tried lots as she worries about dark circles. She now swears by the Make Up Forever one, she's converted me to their foundation too

Buddahbelly · 15/01/2017 14:26

I just came on to suggest the Maybelline age rewind, cant believe only 1 person has suggested it.

I bought the touche eclat at christmas, was surprised by how crap it had become (or id just aged). saw someone suggesting the maybelline one on instagram and went and got it, honestly love it and I've tried them all, rimmel's wake me up, erase paste.. none come close to the maybelline one.

theDudesmummy · 15/01/2017 14:44

I was very interested in all these suggestion, will be trying some. I have bad dark circles, have had since I was a teenager and I am now in my 50s. I use Touche Eclat and have for many years, it's OK but no more than that. I didn't actually realise there are so many alternatives around now. Back in the day I only really knew about Touche Eclat. Thanks for the tips!

Gwenhwyfar · 15/01/2017 18:11

Touche Eclat is a highlighter rather than a concealer and I think it just gives you white circles instead of black ones.
