Have just gotten to the end of my favourite E Lauder concealer which they do not make anymore. Allergic to Touche Eclat. Does anyone know of a fab concealer that is easy to apply, lasts all day and doesn't 'sit' in wrinkles? If I don't find some soon I risk looking like an Alice Cooper-a-like forevermore....Grin

Clinique 2n1 concealer and foundation is a fantastic coverage, for face and for dark circles.

MegTheBitch · 14/01/2017 18:31

I failed to add that after years of using Touché eclát I became allergic to it and my eyes flaked for months

laracroft2001 · 14/01/2017 18:39

Givenchy mr light without a shadow of doubt

Beats touché eclat hands down, and I have never had the reverse panda look

CommunionHelp · 14/01/2017 18:45

I wasn't that impressed with Touche Eclat. I think I expected to blown away and I wasn't.

I have found that any concealer is dialled up a hundred times by putting ELF under eye setting powder on top of it. That stuff is amazing. It's only about a fiver and it just transforms my considerable shadows.

MrDacresEUSubsidy · 14/01/2017 19:06

Boots Collection concealer. I have tried many concealers - from cheap to very £££ and this one is brill. Nice and creamy, blends well, good coverage, you can build it without it going patchy and it is as cheap as chips. I'd pick it any day over Touche Eclat (which I find really chalky).

RocketQueenP · 14/01/2017 19:09

the boots 17 one that is in a gold tube and has blatantly copied touche éclat. cant think of its name but its easy to spot

It is WAY BETTER than touche éclat, and I used to be an absolute devotee of touche éclat. I swear by it now and its only about a fiver!

MusicToMyEars800 · 14/01/2017 19:18

Magzmarsh same as you I've been using it for a while now find it to be a good one, the body shop used to do an amazing tea tree concealer but they discontinued it the bastards!! the collection also do a really good one.

watch this video:
these ladies are brilliant, I have learnt so much from them and they are real if you know what I mean, some mua's on youtube come across fake

thatorchidmoment · 14/01/2017 19:24

A vote for Bobbi brown here. I use the under-eye brightener which has pretty sheer coverage, but they do a corrector/concealer which is great for covering dark circles.

Archaea · 14/01/2017 19:28

Another vote for benefit erase paste - completely covers them

Firsttimemama2017 · 14/01/2017 19:30

Estée Lauder double wear concealer is fab for under eyes! I also like Mac Studio Fix concealer for spots!

Sara107 · 14/01/2017 19:32

Do under eye concealers work to hide bags, or just for dark circles??

CointreauVersial · 14/01/2017 19:34

Rimmel Wake Me Up Undereye Concealer is excellent - just disappears into the skin, taking dark circles with it.

I discovered it when I had to raid DD1's make-up bag whilest on holiday - brilliant stuff, and cheap too.

I didn't get on the the No7 clicky one with the brush - I found it watery yet still hard to blend in. And when I didn't use it for a couple of weeks the brush bit had gone all black (mould?? urgh).

Ulysses · 14/01/2017 19:40

Another vote for the Doublewear concealer from me. I use it with the the foundation and it transforms my skin like magic.

Gwenhwyfar · 14/01/2017 19:49

I've tried Collection, Bobbi Brown corrector, Touche Eclat and many others and none of them do much for me. My shadows are very dark though and presumably hereditary.

LoupGarou · 14/01/2017 19:49

Another vote for Benefit Erase Paste, I am normally very fickle and like to chop and change makeup and try new things but this is the one product I stick with, not interested in trying anything else as its so good.
Also great at stayikng flawless in all climates - lasted all day in 40 + degrees in Asia and lasts all day in - 40 in the Arctic too, never found another concealer which can do that!

LoupGarou · 14/01/2017 19:50

I am also allergic to touche eclat by the way and have very dark circles.

bear28 · 14/01/2017 19:52

I wear mac pro long wear concealer. it lasts all day. when i first put it on it sits in the lines but dab it around and its fine. decided i would wear mac on weekends/nights out and my usual no.7 for every day work etc but now i wear mac everyday. Im addicted!!!

Lovethebubbles · 14/01/2017 19:54

I've tried so many! My favourites are NARS creamy concealer and Clinique airbrush concealer. I have awful purple eye bags and they work pretty well for me.

Therealloislane · 14/01/2017 21:21

I used benefits boing for a while but then it started to crease & look bad.

Haven't found another good one yet.

There's a brilliant fb group called Queens where they know all the best make up types! Mrsgloss is good too, but quite - I dunno, Queens is better.

EatSpamAmandaLamb · 14/01/2017 21:26

Nars Creamy Concealer
Collection Lasting Perfection
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit
Laura Mercier Secret Camoflage (the one with the two concealers and the powder in the pot is very very good)

watchingthedetectives · 14/01/2017 21:31

Eve Lom and was half price in the Space NK sale

AVirginLitTheCandle · 14/01/2017 21:33

High street - Collection Lasting Perfection
High end - Urban Decay Complete Coverage

SuperFlyHigh · 14/01/2017 21:39

The Maybelline dream lumi is good, just bought the rimmel in blue and cream tube and ok. Maybelline I find just as good as Clinique air brush.

Sallystyle · 14/01/2017 22:06

Doublewear

Proseccohoho · 14/01/2017 23:00

Thank you all so much! Will give some of them a try xx
