My dd has had bronchitis and been on antibiotics for past week. Now this has appeared,i first thought it was dribble teething rash but now worried it might be impetigo. Advice please. Also if it is impetigo do I take her to ooh docs or wait till Monday for app??

I'd go to out of hours and get it looked at, as if it is impetigo (it looks like it could be) then it can spread like wildfire both on DD and to others. If it is impetigo and she gets antib's straight away it will cease to be contagious within 24 hrs

Is it weeping? Be very careful to wash hands and everyone to use their opwn towels after touching her.

Possibly cold sores?? If so, they are very painful and very infectious too.

Been to pharmacy first as was in Sainsbury's they reassured me it wasn't blistered so likely not impetigo. I got some cream and hopefully will work

What a relief! Hope your little one is not in any discomfort and it clears up quickly.

She was just rubbing it and it looks sore to me. I'm over anxious when it come to dcs illnesses and sometimes feel like I over react

I don't think you've overreacted at all. Hope it clears up and your DD feels better soon. It's not nice wrong them itching and feeling uncomfortable

Yes the cream is working. She's at nursery today as I'm at work. It's about cleared up now. Yes ha I am proud of the little diva.
