Snowed for about 2 hours here. Kids (indoor) hobby was cancelled 'for their safety'. Snow didn't settle on account of the torrential rain that preceeded it.

We had an inch of snow in Teesside that conveniently fell between 6am & 8am this morning - such fun for all the scaredy-cat slowcoach commuters

It was pretty icy & slippery in places, but not that bad! Nearly all gone by lunchtime.

Do NOT get me started! My headteacher emailed all to say school wouldn't open till 10, to let everyone 'clear their drives'. It started snowing ...mass chickin lickin activity and all the parents get a text saying 'collect your children now'! I walked back to my car with exactly no snow falling, and drove home on completely clear roads. I anticipate some complaints from parents on Monday

We had a bit in NE Glasgow, mostly gone now. I can still see some on the fields in the distance when walking 🚶 down through the park after dropping DD3 off at school. It's probably frozen solid by now.
