I've never had a wax down there ( I think I'd be totally mortified) but like to keep the undercarriage smooth. The flipping hair grows back so quickly though! Anyone have any tips for keeping things spick and span without a contorted shaving session every morning?

Thanks in advance Grin

I'm not all that hairy, just like it to be hair free down below. Feels so much cleaner to me. Hair removal cream any good? What's the regrowth rate like?

I'm a hairy beastie despite being fair haired and cream is a waste of time, I reckon. Stubbly again within a couple of days.

QueenMortificado · 10/01/2017 21:42

I'm rocking a 70s vibe now but going on holiday in a few weeks and really want to get waxed

Am I going to cry? And tips? I've heard that Strip in London is very good

Heatherbell1978 · 10/01/2017 21:43

I trim it with scissors and get a wax if we're off on holiday and I'll be in a bikini. Even then sometimes I'll just wear bikini shorts so it doesn't matter...I'm 33 weeks pregnant so haven't seen it in months mind you.

Violetcharlotte · 10/01/2017 21:44

Quick shave every couple of days.

Grindelwaldswand · 10/01/2017 21:46

I just shave it completely and let it grow put till it gets itchy and in the way again then shave it, I found the longer the hair the smoother the shave you get or you can use veet so long as you avoid your labia and clitoris (it burns!!)

Olympiathequeen · 10/01/2017 21:47

Whenever I shave I'm constantly itchy and uncomfortable. It feels prickly all the time, so I just do a trim. Waxing always gives me ingrowing hairs so that's out.

DancingPenguin1 · 10/01/2017 21:49

Mine is rather neglected!

I used to shave it all off until 4 FUCKING YEARS into our relationship DH told me he prefers it 'natural'. All that aggro for nothing. Shaving really isn't good for you - I'd say brave it and go for a wax. It really isn't that bad and they've seen it all before. It lasts longer and is better for your lady parts.

TroubledTrouble · 10/01/2017 21:51

Although I really would recommend the natural route. I feel so liberated! And strangely proud of my pubes. Never thought I'd see the day 😂

showmeislands · 10/01/2017 21:53

28 weeks pregnant, so for the last few weeks I've been blind-shaving. Risky business.

CommunionHelp · 10/01/2017 21:55

Same here. I waxed etc, for bloody years until DH said he really liked soft, natural pubic hair. It took me a while, but I like it as well now. Still lose the lot for holidays/swimming though.

TheFormidableMrsC · 10/01/2017 21:57

Brazilian, once a month. Been doing it for years, now relatively painless with little regrowth!

BigBadWolves · 10/01/2017 21:57

I didn't realise shaving was bad for it. Maybe I'll have to tamp down my embarrassment.

OP posts:
SocksRock · 10/01/2017 21:58

I don't. Full on natural. Much much easier!

MotherofA · 10/01/2017 21:58

Used to get awful ingrown hairs when I had a wax plus always felt a bit Blush so back to shaving every other day . Would consider laser hair removal but it doesn't bother me much , would rather get my eyebrows microbladed first Grin

paxillin · 10/01/2017 21:59

Just let it grow. Braid it for special occasions.

AnythingConsidered · 10/01/2017 22:01

Sugaring here, every 4-6 weeks.
It isn't pain free, but I find it signicantly better on pain than waxing & lasts just as long!

AskBasil · 10/01/2017 22:01

It doesn't need maintenance.

It Just Is

laureywilliams · 10/01/2017 22:02

me too troubled and communion. He likes my "fur"!!

PerspicaciaTick · 10/01/2017 22:04

Mine is maintenance-free (apart from the occasional hack with scissors to stop side-strays escaping from my swimming costume).

Patchouli666 · 10/01/2017 22:04

I have to shave. I get in-growing hairs when I have a wax.
If you want a pain free wax, use emla cream for two hours beforehand and wrap your twat in cling film and wipe off before the wax.

Grindelwaldswand · 10/01/2017 22:07

How is shaving bad ? Hmm ive been shaving it off since the day it appeared and ive never had any side effects, what is Sugaring Anything ? Im a massive wimp when it comes to wax and i have a vv low pain threshold so is it really painless

Grindelwaldswand · 10/01/2017 22:08

I tried emla cream and the tubes are so tiny id need about 10 to cover my foof Grin

Etak15 · 10/01/2017 22:10

Ha showmeislands you just reminded me of shaving blindly when pregnant I managed to shave my fingernail once doing this Shock
