To think MPs should be sacked if they can't do the job they are being paid to do?

Which is to manage public services like the NHS, education, prisons, the police force, transport etc.

We've had riots in many prisons, the Red Cross saying there's a humanitarian crisis in the NHS, pp dying on beds in corridors, hospitals closing, schools struggling to retain good teachers, a third of new teachers leaving after a year, social care for the elderly at crisis point, pp unable to buy their own homes etc etc.

These are pretty basic things and if the Government can't manage these basic things then what exactly are we paying them for? If they were managers of a company they'd be booted out by now for incompetence. But that's not possible. And now with bloody Brexit I fear they will be so preoccupied by that for the next few years the situation will only get worse...

Let's start with Chris Grayling being sacked. Then deselected by his local Tory party.

Oh yes. Grayling is an abject failure.

Its not their job to manage. It is their job to legislate. If you dont think theyre doing it well enough then vote for someone else.

Of course you could then argue that the problem lies with the election system that allows a party with such a weak mandate to govern. In which case I might agree with you.
